Nina Mantle

I am a senior at Brigham Young University-Idaho majoring in Communications with emphases in Visual Communication and Digital & Social Media Marketing.

I have loved photography ever since I was little and am so grateful to be able to do what I love. 

​

I chose this project because I have a passion for Hispanic culture. For most of my life I have had the immense pleasure of my grandmother living with me, which allowed her culture to play an important role with how I have developed as a person.

 

Now that I live on my own I am always looking for ways to bring attention to my unconventional roots.

 

Creating this cookbook also allowed me to highlight and strengthen my food photography skills. I learned more about new techniques in Photoshop and creating successful food photography in general.
